TRANSPORTATION
SCIS is dedicated to providing a safe, comfortable, and convenient door-to-door school bus service as part of the school program.
Daily transportation to and from school will be provided to SCIS students living within a reasonable distance to our campuses. There may be an exception for school-sponsored field trips.
DOOR-TO-DOOR SERVICE
Our school buses serve over 320 compounds in 12 districts around Shanghai. The transportation office will send detailed bus route information, including pick-up/drop-off time and location, for each child before the first day of school.
Please note that due to regulations imposed by the Shanghai Transportation Commission, schools in Shanghai will need up to three months to apply for a new permit in order to add a new bus, bus route, and/or bus stop to their existing service plan.

SAFETY
Student safety is our number one concern regarding transportation. Each bus comes equipped with First Aid and emergency supplies. Furthermore, a well-trained school bus monitor supervises each bus, ensuring the safety of students, and acting as a primary point of contact in case of emergencies.
