The school-issued MacBooks are generally not intended to be taken outside of mainland China and as these are brand new Apple MacBook M1's that we purchased at the start of this academic year, we were not intending on selling these either. However, saying that, we understand that these are challenging and uncertain times and we can be flexible to meet your family's needs by providing different options to help for the remainder of virtual learning.

- Option 3 - Purchase the MacBook
- Option 4 - Leave a deposit for the MacBook

If you are planning to return to mainland China with the MacBook, you may want to declare it at customs when you are departing so that the MacBook can be exempted from the import tax when it is returned to mainland China.
