Shanghai Community International School

Rain or shine, we kept the summer vibes going last Saturday, August 26 at the SCIS Pudong campus with an epic and exhilarating Welcome Fair. We opened our doors to the wider expat community in Shanghai, inviting them to celebrate the 2023-2024 academic year.  

New and returning families enjoyed the together. Friends across both sides of the river joined this fun-filled event where the fun never stopped.  

The bouncy castle featuring a thrilling waterslide was easily a crowd pleaser where the kids kept on climbing and getting soaked. 

The excitement continued with the infamous water dunk tank where kids got to dunk their favorite faculty, parent, or friend! Don’t worry, there was no harm caused during this event.

After all the laughing, running, and bouncing around, it was time to fill up the guests’ empty tummies and keep them hydrated with our extravagant food and beverage booths, and of course, there’s always room for a little shopping. Thank you to the vendors who came and supported us:  

This family-friendly event would not have happened without the help of SCIS staff and the Pudong Parents and Friends Association (PAFA). They spent weeks, late nights, and sweat to put this wonderful event together. Be sure to say thank you if you see them around!  

So... What's next? Come join us next Saturday, September 2 at the SCIS Hongqiao Main campus for another unforgettable event hosted by SCIS.
